Providing excellent front-line services across Gloucestershire, Cotswold, Forest of Dean and West Oxfordshire, Ubico ltd is a rapidly expanding local authority owned Company. We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our hard-working, highly successful team.
Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, the Apprentice will be trained and assist with Inspections, servicing, repairing, maintaining HGV vehicles, plant and equipment to required standards in line with Compliance and Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
This is an Apprenticeship vacancy; you will be working towards a level 3 qualification and, on successful completion of the programme including attainment of the relevant grade you will be able to apply for a permanent position within Ubico, if one is available.
All applicants are required to live within a 10-mile radius of the recruiting Depot.
You will need…
- Dedication and perseverance needed to fulfil full term of apprenticeship.
- Physically fit to work under vehicles and move around the workshop.
- Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible approach to working hours and tasks allocated
- Ability to read and follow basic information/instructions
