HGV Vehicle Technician
Cotswolds Depot, South Cerney, Cirencester
Salary £43,490 - £44,715 per annum after a successful probation (including shift allowance, 5hrs contractual overtime & tools allowance)
42 hours per week – Monday to Friday, no scheduled weekends or evenings, Permanent Contract
About the role…
We are looking for an enthusiastic HGV Vehicle Technician to join our hard-working, highly successful team. Providing excellent front line services across Gloucestershire. Ubico Ltd is a rapidly expanding local authority owned Company.
Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, you will carry out inspections, servicing, repairing, maintaining HGV and light vehicles, plant and equipment to required standards in line with Compliance and Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
You will need…
- Full valid, UK Driving Licence (or European equivalent).
- City and Guilds full craft certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working and carrying out inspections, servicing and repairs on a mixed fleet of vehicles and a demonstrable stable employment history within the industry.
- Prepared to undertake additional training to support a diverse fleet as required including technological advances.
- Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
